Among the Unesco heritage vineyards, for over fifty years, in the name of a family tradition.

Initiated by Pasquale and Giuseppina Ferretto, carried out by Armando and Silvana, continued by Walter and Roberto Ferretto. A tradition from generation to generation.

IlCascinaleNuovo represents tradition and innovation capable of merging into a gastronomic proposal that knows how to combine the great cuisine that has made Piedmont famous, with the aromas and flavors from every corner of the world.

Since 1968, the first years of the restaurant in Isola d’Asti, many things have changed: the drastic reduction of seats has been added to the total renovation of the rooms, to offer a superior quality service and a refined gastronomic proposal.

The refinement in the dishes is accompanied by attention in the combinations with local wines, absolute protagonists, and with the great Italian and foreign wines.

Continuing the passion of mother Silvana, Walter Ferretto has deepened with his creativity the knowledge of raw materials, of land and sea. This is how the style that the chef still puts in every dish was born today, which is based on the balanced pleasantness of the background of the various compositions.

Although the elegant and minimalist dining room is not typical of the Piedmontese formal style, the menu offers the best of traditional regional cuisine, as well as some fish dishes.


It is the dedication, the passion, the will that animates the Ferretto brothers, which has allowed them to maintain a prestigious recognition such as the iconic Michelin star for over 30 years, as well as numerous other awards and recognitions.
